Version 2.2, with New VCAcute Materia Medica!

Thursday, April 14, 2016

We are pleased to announce the availability of VC version 2.2 that includes impressive new additions and updates!

New VC Acute Materia Medica!

Gain more insight while analyzing acute cases using the long awaited Acute Materia Medica. It integrates invaluable information that is focused on the symptoms and modalities of the remedies during acute states. Use the advanced search and browsing functions to easily navigate through the included vital information and accelerate your productivity. The VC Acute Materia Medica initially covers the 60 most important acute remedies.
The VC Acute Materia Medica is automatically displayed as the default Materia Medica in acute cases.

Dynamic Repertory Metadata is greatly extended with 500 additional statements

What does a rubric such as “anxiety about others” mean to you? By itself, it is just a “one dimensional” symptom with no perspective, no color, no other information. But what happens in reality is that each remedy that manifests this symptom has a character, a distinct way of expression and a unique pattern of symptoms. How is “anxiety about others” expressed in Phosphorus and how in Arsenicum? What about Sulphur or Cocculus?
All this valuable fine knowledge is brought together in the Dynamic Repertory Metadata feature, that enables you to Go deeper than the repertory and differentiate remedies according to fine nuances, ‘flavors’, subtle behaviors and more. This unique VC feature is now greatly extended with 500 additional statements (and we continue adding...)
Dynamic Repertory Metadata appears (when available) in the Results page, next to the remedies with the highest score. Just press the dynamic repertory metadata icon.

New powerful Remedy Analysis function!

At any moment in an analysis you can now check how ANY remedy compares with the current best candidate remedy!
Perform Specific Remedy Analysis for any one remedy in the candidate list, and VC returns the main differential symptoms versus the remedies with the highest score i.e. symptoms which, if present, could strongly point to that remedy for the case. A very useful feature, especially when the case is not clear.

These symptoms are clearly listed in the new Main Differential Symptoms Against Prevailing Remedies group in the results of the Specific Remedy Analysis.

Even Smoother experience on Mobile Devices

This comprehensive update also incorporates a large number of improvements that will make the VC experience on mobile devices smoother and more accessible.

Many other smaller improvements

As always, new versions of VC include improvements in every aspect of the program. In version 2.2 examples are an Auto-suggest words feature in keyword-specific Remedy Analysis and a much improved User Manual.
